In her layered film, The Dream of a Falling Star, Büyüktaşcıyan delves into the contradictory relationship between absence and existence, sound and silence, erasure and resistance, by retracing apocalyptic histories through the morphology of the stone, fractures of unstable foundations, territorial divisions and celestial bodies, embodied by the terrestrial.
